Here's a list of hotels and lodging near the RDRC Field. This list is constantly growing, as we scout for the best deals and make contacts with area facilities.


The Country Hearth Inn is the RD-RC Preferred Hotel for this event!

Located approx. 16 miles from the RDRC Field, in Knightdale NC. It's very easy to get to the RDRC field from this hotal via rural route. Their phone is (888)443-2784 and (919) 266-7324. This is a new facility, and a nice site to stay at. Click the link above for more info.


The Sleep Inn is located on 12401 Wake Union Church Rd. in Wake Forest, NC 27587. Their phont number is 919-556-4007, and their website address is: www.sleepinnwakeforest.com.


The Wake Forest Hampton Inn is located on 12318 Wake Union Church Rd. in Wake Forest, NC 27587. Their phont number is 919-554-0222.


The Holiday Inn Express Wakefield is located approx. 13 miles from the RDRC Field, on 11400 Common Oaks Drive, Raleigh, NC (actually in Wakefield, just ourside of Wake Forest). Their phone # is (877)211-3289, and this line takes you to their central booking center. This is located just minutes from historic downtown Wake Forest and North Raleigh.


The Best Western is located approx. 15 miles from the RDRC Field, on 201 Sandalwood Avenue in Louisburg, NC. Their direct phone # is (919) 340-4449, and the 800-WESTERN line takes you to their central booking center. This is located in Louisburg NC, an easy drive to the RDRC field.

CAMPING ON SITE:

Primitive on-site camping is available and many pilots and spectators take advantage of this. There is flying after dark and Higher Plane Productions usually gives a very nice video performance. Yes, the Fly For Tots has a "Night Life". Click on the field layout image to view it in a larger window.
