East R/C Summer Slam '08

On Saturday July 26th, 2008 from 9am until 3pm, East R/C will have a public Open House and Street Party. This event will celebrate several things.. It commemorates our 1st year of business in Zebulon NC, it is a grand opening for our newest showroom expansion at 110 East Vance Street, and kicks off the release of a new East R/C Product named the 'Lucky 13'!

East R/C has activities in store for everyone. Being held in association with our parent company (Scootworks), there are a multitude of things to see and do. Flight Simulators for folks test and R/C Demos will be held to watch. Vendors will be set up like: K/C Hobby from Archdale, meet with our Amsoil Rep for info on the Sabre Professional for your gas engines, and Dual Sky will be showing some of their latest battery technology and airplane products. Some of the area clubs will be set up to introduce you to R/C Clubs in the surrounding towns. Representatives from the AMA and IMAA will be here to explain the benefits of membership in those organizations.

There will be loads of food and drink, DJ and Music, Custom Painters will be on site, Airbrush and Pinstripe artists on site to add detail to your aircraft/heli/trailer, Four Kingz Tattoo will be there to ink your favorite design, a professional photographer will be in house to photo & frame a pic of your favorite bird, and more! We will be giving away prizes throughout the day for some awesome goodies from East R/C, Horizon Hobby, Great Planes, SIG, Green Model USA, Rich Model, HangIt R/C, and more.
