ERC 50cc Yak54 w/Carbon Fiber & Upgrades - ERC's 30% 3-D Yak54 is a superior
aircraft, designed with the 3-D pilot in mind. CAD Designed and built from 100% laser cut parts and
premium woods, the fit is exact, and the end result is a very light aircraft. In addition, this
airplane is covered in Ultracote, the choice of champions and a big plus in the event you need to
make repairs!
Compare this to the competition... nothing to upgrade in carbon fiber or hardware, it's already done for
you! The wing and horizontal stab panels all use carbon fiber tubes for extra strength
and weight reduction, and for ease of transport and assembly at the field. The horizontal stab also has
carbon alignment dowels for accurate alignment (photo 11). The 50cc Yak 54 has a
removable conopy for easy access to radio compartment, fuel tank, and wing holds. The cowling
is beautifully detailed (photo 10), and uses a plywood cowl ring for strength, as opposed to simply being screwed to the fuse like on
some of the cheaper models. The fiberglass wheel pants already have reinforcements glassed into
position (photo 9). The fuse was designed with integral tunnels to accomodate different
exhaust systems. Attention was paid to all details, and the hardware kit didn't go lacking.
Heavy-duty S.A.E. fasteners, ball ends, carbon fiber tail gear, aluminum control horns, and more
add the finishing touches found only in the best kits. Check out the specs and additional photos
