Glass Yak54 - .50 -
This great flying, highly aerobatic Yak, is almost the same specs as our regular Yak54-.50 MKII, except it
has a beautifully painted fiberglass fuselage. The wings, horizontal stabilizer, and control surfaces are all built up, and professionally covered with oracover (Ultra-Cote) to match the paint perfectly.
It even has a two-piece wing with a wing tube and molded wing fillets on the fuse. The scale wheel spats are a nice touch as well. All the control surfaces are double-beveled for maximum deflection. If you're into 3D, or any type of aerobatics,
and would like a small plane that you can throw in the car and have ready to fly in just a moments time...this Yak is for you!
To get this bird in the air you will need: .40-.50 2 Stroke or a .52-.70 4 Stroke or an equivalent electric setup, 5 Standard
Servos, A minimum of a 4ch transmitter and receiver. A 2-1/4" Spinner would be the appropriate size, and then of course you have
your basic building tools, glues, etc.
