Easy Star RTF - It can be extremely frustrating for
a beginner pilot, who may not know any experienced modelers or have a local flying club, to
learn how to fly. The Easy Star breaks that once infamous boundary. The model airplanes that
have captured your imagination, fly like REAL airplanes... and it can become quite expensive
for someone who is attempting to learn to fly on their own. Couple that with propellers turning
at 15,000 rpm's can remove more items than one would like. The Easy Star is a very gentle
airplane and can handle moderate breezes very well. Allthough there is no airplane that will
fly itself without correct input from a pilot, it does forgive the beginner pilot's tendencies
to overfly the airplane. It's contruction gives it a quality that most beginner airplanes do
not possess. It is contructed of heavy duty Elapor foam, which is unlike other foams. Elapor is
extremely impact resistant, it can bend a lot without breaking. Should it break, it is easily
and very quickly repaired with common CA (super glue). The Easy Star will help you learn to fly
and will continue to be an enjoyable airplane long after you have moved on to higher performing
models.
The Easy Star RTF can be built in about 1 Hour and it includes HITEC brand radio gear, flight
battery, field charger, motor and prop. Flight times in excess of 30 Minutes are easily
attained with throttle management (i.e. it will fly very well at half throttle). We recommend
an extra battery pack for low down time between flights/charges. All electronic gear is
pre-installed in the airplane. Simply attach the tail surfaces, plug in the wing halves, charge
the flight battery and FLY!
