Two-Piece Wing w/ Wing Tube
Functional Flaps for slower easier landings
B-25J Mitchell ARF -
Hangar 9 has really outdone themselves this time! This is the first twin-engine ARF that Hangar 9 has ever made. It is super scale with scale
cockpits, bombs, radiator scoops, and gun turrets. The B-25J "Mitch The Witch II" is absolutely beautiful and is a great flyer. It's modeled
after the real "Mitch The Witch II" which is currently held at the Palm Springs Air Museum in California. The same aircraft was actually flown in the
movie 'Pearl Harbor'. With this model's size, beauty, and scale likeness...it is sure to be a unique attention grabber at the field! It comes with a fixed landing gear,
but to make it all around perfect, all you need is a set of nice pneumatic retracts. The functional flaps make for easy take-offs and landings. The B25J
is great with two glow motors, but if you do not want to deal with getting them in sync, or with the typical glow fuel mess...it comes right out of the box with an electric
option. There's no conversion necessary at all to go electric. It even has removable battery hatches on the bottom in case you decide to do so! Don't forget that with it's
80.7" wingspan...this baby is I.M.A.A. legal!
Needed to complete this plane is: two .36-.46 2S or two .52 4S glow motors, or if you want to go
electric, two of our X3520/06 Motors, w/ two 50A ESCs and two 4S (14.8V) Li-Po batteries between
3700mAh and 5000mAh. See specs below for radio and servos. See our Retracts Page
for our air retracts that will work perfectly with this plane.
