ASW-28 ARF - The full scale ASW-28 is rapidly becoming the choice for Racing Class pilots across the globe and is type certified for cloud flying and semi-aerobatics. Boasting a HQ3015 airfoil, this model is a great thermal duration glider and indicates lift with the best of em'. The fuselage is pre-finished, gel-coated fiberglass and the wings are built up with full sheeting. The molded fiberglass winglets offer a nice scale touch, not to mention aerodynamic stability. The instrument panel area is balsa covered and painted black to perserve the scale appearance, while hiding your electronics inside. The low drag "T" tail brings the ability to fly extremely slowly through lift without fearing a stall. The ASW-28 is also capable of mild aerobatics. Our ASW-28 is slightly less than 1/6th scale.
Assembly of this model will take about 7 hours and an easy to read exploded view instruction diagram is included. An airbrake mix (both ailerons raise) is reccomended for slowing the aircraft down for landing.
