A Ride through the Florida Keys, 5/20-28/00

Here, we're crossing over a bridge in the
southern edge of South Carolina... still hauling butt southward.

Woohoo!!!! We finally made it into Georgia, in the
sweltering heat. We were beginning to COOK, as the temps hit around 95 degrees. Gypsy's
inlet air temp gauge indicated the air over the hiway to be well over 110 degrees. That's
kinda like riding along behind a huge hair dryer!

A group of bikes began to sneak up on us from behind.
Notice my white shirt?? I usually stick that on when the heat gets bad, to control
sunburn. Works pretty good.
